The Friends of Pine Ridge Cemetery Inc is an organization formed by community volunteers to maintain Pine Ridge and Seamans Cemeteries after they were abandoned in the 1950's. After the last owner died, the cemetery fell in to disrepair and was subject to vandalism and desecration. Several groups had tried to keep the cemetery in good shape over the years but interest in the cemetery would diminish over time. 

The Friends of Pine Ridge Cemetery Inc was incorporated in 2014 and the non-profit entity was formed to allow for donations to be raised for the upkeep of the cemetery. The cemetery has no means of income as all burial plots are filled, so our organization relies on volunteer labor and donations from the public to fund our equipment and fuel expenses. 

We are always on the lookout for new volunteers. If you wish to volunteer as an individual or belong to a group that would like to volunteer on a team basis, please contact us for further information.
