Rev. Paul C. Cecil serves as pastor of Friendship Methodist Church, a congregation within the Global Methodist Church, and has been blessed to serve in pastoral ministry for the past 13 years. Before answering God’s call into ministry, Paul worked for 29 years with Vietri Inc., bringing the life experience of a second-career pastor and a deep appreciation for God’s faithfulness in every season of life.

Paul and his wife, Tonya, have shared 39 wonderful years of marriage and have been blessed with three children—Chad, Emily, and Isaac—as well as their granddaughter, Alice, who brings great joy to their family. Paul is passionate about preaching God’s Word, sharing the message of Jesus Christ, and helping others grow in their walk of faith. Outside of ministry, he enjoys spending time with family, following sports, and making memories while camping. His greatest desire is to faithfully serve Christ and point others toward the hope and grace found in Him.
