Holiday Shopping with Friends for a Worthy Cause

Supporting Low-Income Alexandrians with Mental Health Conditions

Ten Thousand Villages, Thursday, December 6, 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Delight your loved ones and friends this season by giving them a lovely gift that also helps community members in need. A percentage of each gift purchased at Ten Thousand Villages, 915 King Street, on Thursday, December 6, from 7-9 p.m. will benefit Friends of the Alexandria Mental Health Center. “Friends” is a local nonprofit that provides special and emergency needs assistance to Alexandrians of limited means – children, teens, adults, or older adults - who are participating in services for mental illness, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities with the City’s Department of Community and Human Services. This meaningful shopping event will feature Ten Thousand Villages’ colorful handcrafted gifts, light refreshments, and even free gift-wrapping!
