The Friends of St. Nicholas is an organization made up of parish members, formed to facilitate funds for capital improvement projects undertaken by the parish. Specifically, as written in the bylaws of the Friends of St. Nicholas; The purpose of this organization is to work in cooperation with the St. Nicholas Parish Council and Finance Committee in a common goal to fund renovation, maintenance and upkeep projects for the St. Nicholas Catholic Church and its grounds and facilities; in its present needs and to provide an avenue of support for the funding of future projects.

• The Friends of St. Nicholas has partnered with the Fort Recovery Community Foundation for administrative support to manage the receipt of donations and distribution of funds for capital improvement project expenses of St. Nicholas parish. The Foundation will take care of all of the accounting services for the Friends of St. Nicholas organization. 

Yes! All donations will be tax deductible. If you donate over $250, you will receive a letter from the Ft. Recovery Foundation for proof for your taxes. 

Your donation is strictly confidential. The Friends of St. Nicholas’ committee will not receive individual names and amounts donated. Instead, we will receive a quarterly statement detailing the total amount in our fund. 

If you wish to fund the entire restoration of a window, please reach out to a Friends of St. Nicholas' member if you would like to have your name on a plaque below the window. 

Unfortunately, the Fort Recovery Foundation does not currently accept direct deposits. If someone wanted to set up bill pay and have his or her bank send the checks on his or her behalf, the individual can do so by sending the check to the Foundation's PO Box address. Otherwise, the best option currently is to mail checks directly to the Foundation and have "Friends of St. Nicholas" in the memo.
