What: The beloved Wilderness trails in Moosehorn have been damaged extensively from wind storms over the last year. Downed trees and debris block many of the trails still. Join Friends of Moosehorn and Refuge staff for a morning of trail stewardship in the Wilderness. Volunteers will meet at the Wildlife Viewing station on Charlotte road, and organize into work groups from there. Car-pooling and 4 wheel drive vehicles encouraged due to the soft shoulders.
Expect approximately 3hrs of work, clearing debris, and cutting downed trees with hand tools provided and/or feel free to bring your own. Sturdy shoes, and gloves recommended. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends.
