The Friends of Hamilton Humanities is a parent organization dedicated to the support of the Humanities Magnet at Hamilton High School.  The Humanities program nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and intellectual engagement—preparing students not just for college or careers, but for a lifetime of learning and adaptability. What makes Humanities especially meaningful is its place within Hamilton’s vibrant and diverse campus community. While the program itself emphasizes rigorous academics and thoughtful debate, students also benefit from Hamilton’s rich cultural life—from sports and drumline to jazz band and theater—which broadens their perspectives and deepens their appreciation of the world. Public funding alone can no longer sustain this level of opportunity. That’s where Friends of Humanities Boosters come in.

Our three priorities are: 

(1) Building financial resources

(2) Building community

(3) Representing the Humanities magnet program to the outside. 

Our financial resources support smaller class sizes, curriculum enhancements, new student orientation, underwrite fieldtrips, teacher development programs and other various efforts to support the overall Humanities Program.
