Mission Statement

Our mission is to honor and preserve the history of Bishop McDevitt High School (Wyncote, Pa) which opened in 1958 and closed in 2021. Our main objective is to hold annual events for alumni and friends of Bishop McDevitt to gather socially to keep the Lancer spirit alive.  We also plan to raise funds to support families who choose a Catholic education for their sons and daughters. Our beloved high school may be closed, but the Royal Lancer legacy will live on through the Friends of Bishop McDevitt.
