Indoor Activities

We also provide support with everyday tasks like dressing, brushing teeth, and other self-care routines. The goal is to help each participant become more independent and confident in their daily life. Staying active is important, so we offer fun exercise routines like stretching, dancing, walking, and light strength training, all designed to be enjoyable and accessible. 

We offer arts and crafts. From painting to drawing. We also have games and puzzles that encourage both cognitive skills and social interaction. Whether it’s a board game, a card game, a puzzle, a foosball table, or an air hockey table, these activities help participants work together and learn in a playful way.

We assist with shopping trips, where participants can practice budgeting, choosing items, and managing money. We help participants open bank accounts, manage their finances, and understand basic money concepts like saving and budgeting. This helps build essential life skills for greater independence. 

We also organize exciting field trips to local destinations such as Funtown/Splashtown Amusement Park, scenic boat rides, visits to Maine’s beautiful lighthouses, and library outings to explore new books and activities. These trips give participants the opportunity to enjoy new experiences, build confidence, and create lasting memories together.

At Friendly Day Program LLC, we are dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and empowering environment where everyone can grow, learn, and connect. Each activity is thoughtfully designed to support independence while encouraging social engagement and enjoyment. Transportation is provided using our program vehicles to ensure safe and reliable travel to and from all activities and outings.
