Testimonials
Decades ago, I had the privilege of meeting Drs. Steve Graham and Karen Harris, the founders of SRSD, and embarked on the journey of bringing this powerful approach to my organization. As our school evolved, so did our need to refresh and deepen our SRSD knowledge and practices.
Dr. Harris introduced us to Barbara Friedlander, and from there, a remarkable collaboration was born. Barbara’s expertise and dedication have empowered our teachers to confidently teach writing, equipping our students with effective strategies to become skilled writers. Her commitment is unparalleled—traveling to Arizona in the heat of summer and hosting multiple Zoom sessions throughout the year to support our staff.
Teachers trained by Barbara not only rave about her engaging approach but also walk away with clear, actionable steps to enhance student writing. By the end of our second year together, our team was eager for even more strategies. Barbara enthusiastically took on the challenge, seamlessly integrating SRSD with additional methods we aim to implement.
I cannot recommend Barbara more highly—her impact on our school has been invaluable.
