Effective Date: 2026-07-15

The Application does not collect precise GPS location data from your mobile device.
Local and Cloud Storage
Some data is stored locally on your device, including inventory items, saved recipes, shopping lists, app settings, notification preferences, and temporary app state.
If you create an account, subscribe to Premium, or use household sharing/cloud sync, selected data may also be stored in Supabase so that the Application can provide cloud sync, account features, household sharing, subscription access, and backup-related functionality.
Camera, Photo Library, and Receipt Scanning
The Application may request access to your camera or photo library so you can scan receipts or food-related images. These permissions are used only when you choose to use those features.
When you use receipt scanning, the Application may process receipt images and extracted receipt text through backend services and third-party AI services to perform OCR and identify grocery items.
AI Features
When you use AI recipe generation, recipe search, or receipt scanning, the Application may send relevant inventory items, recipe search queries, receipt images, extracted receipt text, language preferences, and related context to backend services and Google Gemini API for processing.
This processing is used to provide recipe suggestions, recipe search results, receipt OCR, and grocery item extraction.
