I work at the intersection of geospatial analysis, conservation science, and environmental changes. My research focuses on leveraging geospatial technology in support of biodiversity conservation and climate resilience. I am particularly interested in understanding the environmental consequences of global changes (i.e. wildlife-habitat dynamics, deforestation/habitat degradation, fire dynamics, climate change) while working on solutions to improve protected-area networks and sustainability efforts in a wide variety of landscapes and ecosystems. To overcome these challenges, I take advantage of state-of-the-art remote sensing data and tools to advance mapping methods that can better support conservation policies from local to global scales.
