Freya has brown hair and bright green eyes. She has a ancient tattoo on the left side of her face starting at the top of her brow and going just over the apples of her cheek {when channeling the power of Jord}. She is about 5ft 11 inches and fairly fit. She is seen normally wearing a modernized version of Ancient Nordic Ranger clothing.
Freya is cautious but has a warm heart. She has a great spirit and in battle she is fearless and ready to defend her comrades. When she gets to know someone she is protective of them and that can sometimes backfire. Overall, Freya is passionate and strong willed. She has never had a true romance but finds she is drawn to the idea of it. Though fearless in many ways love is something that scares her more than anything.
Freya has a long bow that is made of a very strong and magic laced wood. The wood is lined in silver, with Ancient Nordic Runes etched in. It is said to be the Bow of Skaði Goddess of Bow hunting and Winter. The arrows are silver tipped and made of the same wood as the bow as to allow her to call upon enchantments. She is able to call these arrows back to her as to reuse them. Aside from her main weaponry, she has a utility belt of sort with hunting tools such as: A Tomahawk, a Knife, a heavy duty leather pouch, a small silver bowl and some rope.
Freya is quite agile and fairly stealthy. She found that with her frame she has a good balance of strength and stealth. She finds it harder to be more of a brute. She has very good eyesight and can see much farther than normal people. She attributes that to having a connection with Gunnolf and the fact that she hold Skadi's bow. She had a hard time connecting to the Gods all things considered and finds her focus in a spiritual sense isn't the best.
Overall, Freya is strong, agile and stealthy. She finds herself however not always well with words as she is brutally honest, that is of course if she isn't drunk. Oddly enough, under the influence of alcohol she is quite charismatic, sometimes that works against her.
A gift from the Gods he is said to protect Freya in battle. He can charge up shields to protect Freya or her comrades on command. He can charge up powerful attacks as well. He comes up to Freya's hips which makes him easy for Freya to ride.
Gunnolf naturally is a white wolf with bright blue eyes. In battle his fur seems to shine almost and what seems to be based on Ancient Nordic Spells seems to appear on his fur.
"In the small snowy mountains of Sweden, was a village nestled among the thick trees and rock. This sat 'The Village of Anemio' under these rocks and trees rested the Great Anemio, the Earth's heart. It is said that only the Guardian of the Great Anemio can access the heart of the world. This Guardian is chosen by Jörð . The Guardian must have a pure heart, a warm soul and a fearless spirit. The Guardian is said to protect its people, and the world from those who wish to harm the Great Anemio. In order to grant access to the Great Anemio, one must find the 'Stone of Jörð ' or as some call it, 'The Heart of Jord'. However, it is said, that only the Child of Jörð possesses the Heart of Jörð within." --Ancient Tomes from The Village of Anemio
Freya was born in the Village of Anemio. She was born to a human man and an Elven Mother. Living among both humans and elves meant she understood both languages fluently. Her Father was a great hunter in fact he was the lead hunter. This was a great honor, and Freya was determined to follow his footsteps. When Freya was still young she was to pick a weapon. One that she was drawn to was "The Bow of Skaði" this bow is said to only be bestowed to those with a fearless warrior spirit. To be able to wield this bow would allow her to call upon a wolf companion named Gunnolf. This wolf would help her in battles, fights, and hunts to come.
In time, it was learned that Freya was possibly the Guardian of the Great Anemio. While this was an honor it left a target on her people and herself. She was fearful, but knew her duty to her people. She would train to be one of the best huntresses in the village and one of the best rangers. However, it was not soon enough...
The High Elves of Tragon attacked the village and demanded they bring forth the Guardian, in fear the Elders told Freya to run. Others begged her to fight. However in the end, Freya ran. Before she did, she watched her village burn down, and her people captured, some of them killed. It was then she decided that when she would retrieve the Heart of Jord she would avenge her people and her village.
The problem was, Freya had no idea where the Heart of Jörð was, or how to obtain it, but she was determined to find out. The friends she makes along the way may be able to help...or hinder her. That has yet to be decided.
