Cody has been working on an undergraduate research project to identify prey of the Mexican spotted owl and great horned owl at Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico. Cody presented his research at the JAM meeting in February 2024 and will soon turn to publishing the results.

Isidro competed an independent research study with with Dr. Frey on the habitat and forage selection of beavers in the (seasonally mostly dry) Rio Grande in southern New Mexico.
