Q: Where did you get the name Fresita Floral?
A: The word "fresa" in Spanish translates to Strawberry. When I was younger my Mom would call me her "little fresita" which meant that I was her "little strawberry". Also, I simply love strawberries! :)
Q: How long have you been in the industry?
A: I have technically been in & out of the floral/event design industry since April of 2012 when I first began my journey as an intern in Orange County, CA for a Floral Design & Coordination Company.
Q: How long have you been designing?
A: I have been doing my own floral designs since the beginning of 2022.
Q: Did you go to school for floral design?
A: No, I did not. I am self-taught. I have learned through observation, YouTube, design workshops, working at two different retail flower shops, and freelancing for many other amazing florists.
Q: What do you like to do when you are not "playing with flowers"?
A: When I am not working with flowers chances are you can find me relaxing at home with my husband, Demetrius and binge-watching some cringy reality show while surrounded by our fur babies. I am an extrovert who enjoys being out with friends, going to concerts, hanging at the dog park or seeing a good musical.
