French Toast was founded in 2021 as a music/art project that focuses on joy, playing shows that are full of energy with a passion for spontaneity and whimsy.  Inspired by bubblegum, new wave, and punk - their music is described as a minimal, scrappy, pop-rock that encourages the audience to join in on the fun. They create and foster a kind, uplifting, and easy-going experience at each show they play - whether it be a pop-up show in the city square or as part of a line up with other musicians. 

Influences include: The B-52's, DEVO, Talking Heads, Bikini Kill, Blondie, The Buzzcocks, The Modern Lovers, Patti Smith, The Pixies, The Ramones, Sleater Kinney, and R.E.M.
