L’éducation : un enjeu majeur

La France est le pays qui dispose du plus important réseau scolaire au-delà de ses frontières. Ce réseau accompagne la mobilité croissante des familles françaises à l’international. Il est aussi un instrument de rayonnement grâce à l’accueil d’élèves de nationalités étrangères (60 % des effectifs). Il remplit ainsi une mission de scolarisation des enfants des familles françaises établies hors de France et de formation d’une partie de la jeunesse de 138 pays.

Par cette double mission, le réseau scolaire participe à l’image, à la présence et à l’influence de la France dans le monde et porte, partout, les valeurs universelles humanistes qui sont le fondement de son modèle républicain.

L’homologation des établissements : une garantie de qualité

L’homologation délivrée par le ministère de l’Éducation nationale certifie la conformité de l’enseignement aux exigences, programmes, objectifs pédagogiques et règles d’organisation du système éducatif français.

Elle permet à tout élève issu d’un établissement homologué de poursuivre sa scolarité dans tout autre établissement français (sous réserve de place disponible) sans examen d’admission.

Education: a major challenge

France is the country with the largest school network beyond its borders. This network supports the growing mobility of French families abroad. It is also an instrument of influence thanks to the reception of students of foreign nationalities (60% of the total number of students). It thus fulfills a mission to educate the children of French families living outside of France and to train a portion of the youth of 138 countries.

Through this dual mission, the school network contributes to France's image, presence and influence in the world and promotes, everywhere, the universal humanist values that are the foundation of its republican model.

Accreditation of institutions: a guarantee of quality

Accreditation issued by the French Ministry of Education certifies that the school's teaching complies with the requirements, programs, pedagogical objectives and organizational rules of the French education system.

It allows any student from an accredited school to continue his or her education in any other French school (subject to availability of space) without an entrance exam.
