DNA replication/transcription conflicts are related to genome instability. Different causes could temporarily block or interfere with the progression of DNA replication or transcription machineries such as non-canonical secondary DNA structures, DNA-protein complexes, DNA damage and chromatin changes. The Workshop will mainly focus on emerging aspects of replication/transcription coordination mechanisms, DNA damage and repair pathways affecting genome stability in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.
The workshop will take place in a highly stimulating scientific context and friendly atmosphere favoring an international exchange of knowledge, research experience and opinions concerning genome dynamics and disease mechanisms.
