FRENCH-VIETNAM MASTER 2 IN APPLIED MATHEMATICS
This is a joint training program of the Master of Applied Mathematics of the University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City and six French Universities (Lorraine, Orleans, Paris XIII, Rennes 1, Tours and Ecole Polytechnique) starting in 2011. The content of cooperation as follows:
French universities recognize the fourth year in bachelor's degree program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Science (Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City) and a number of Vietnamese universities are equivalent to the first year of the French Master Program, use the facilities of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of the University of Science in Ho Chi Minh City, send French professors to teach the first semester of the Master2's program (the second year of Master progam) of France and give scholarships (tickets HCM-Paris-HCM + tuition and accommodation in France from 3 to 4 months) for students to practice the second semester of the Master2's program in France. Successful students receive Masters degrees from Universities Orleans, Paris XIII, Rennes 1 and Tours.

Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City sponsors the Paris-HCM-Paris airfare and part of the teaching money for French professors to teach in this program. French universities funded a part of the teaching money for French professors to teach and scholarships for students to study in France for 3 to 4 months.

Enrollment target of 25 students per year. Students only pay the tuition fees of the French universities 275 euros for the entire program.

The purpose of this program is to introduce students to full scholarships for Ph.D program of French and other countries. Often more than half of students in this program receive a scholarship to study in France or Europ .
