Being part of the Fremont UNICEF Club allows members to speak out against issues and take real action regarding those issues. Members can develop leadership skills and enhance their communication by becoming part of the Executive Board. If you can't find the time to deeply partake in the club by being part of the Executive board, you can do other things to become an active member. This can include submitting your work to our literary magazine, spreading awareness of our cause, encouraging others to be part of our club, finding sponsors, having people donate, participate in events and fundraisers, and much more!
We encourage for members and leaders to take and complete at least a couple of UNICEF courses to further deepen your knowledge and learn new skills! You can find hundereds of free courses here: https://agora.unicef.org/local/catalogue/index.phpIt. It is is immensely important to be informed of issues all over the world, so I encourage all members to be subscribed to UNICEF's monthly newsletter. You can do that by going on UNICEF's website and inserting your emails. Make sure to regularly check your email, this website, and/or the (future) social media pages for upcoming events and fundraisers! Make sure to follow UNICEF's social media pages, and stay informed!
