The Leal Tankhouse is a historic 1925 tankhouse originally located in the Mission San Jose area, then reconstructed in 2004 to the Ardenwood Historic Farm.Â
It was originally built in 1925 by Joseph and Julia Leal on their 27-acre ranch. The Ardenwood Historic Farm features the 5,000 gallon water tank and an educational water exhibit for visitors.
The Leal's relied on this 100' deep well tankhouse as their only source of water for the household and ranch for 57 years.
Visit the Ardenwood Historic Farm to see and learn more about this historic tankhouse.
