THANK YOU FOR JOINING US! See you next year!
FSC is a place where you can learn coding and share your knowledge with others. We try our best to make it an inclusive learning space, where everyone is welcome no matter their background.
While there's plenty of coding classes out there, they're often expensive and far away. Virtual classes also often little to no engagement and discussion.
At FSC, we teach students in a learning environment they're familiar with. We also encourage students to help and learn with their peers. Beginner or expert, we will provide students with opportunities to show what they have learned through engaging projects and workshops.
By the time students enter high school, they will have mastered the fundamental coding concepts they need to thrive in the buzzing field of computer science.
Hi! My name is Rohit and I am the president and founder of the Fremont School of Coding. I started FSC at the beginning of 2022 and it has been active ever since. I wanted to create a place where I could teach others the skills that I learned myself revolving around coding. I wanted to be able to teach coding to kids without charging a fee. We meet every week to share ideas and create new projects. I hope to continue FSC for as long as I can!
Hi! I'm Rishab, a current freshmen at WHS. I started FSC with Rohit to bring a different approach to learning coding: through projects and demonstrations, instead of just lectures. I love it when students learn concepts during our lessons and apply them (along with their creativity!) to their projects. Last year was really fun, and I'm excited to be a part of FSC heading into the next school year! Outside of FSC, I like to read, watch/play sports, and hang out with my friends.
Hi, I'm Aarav, and I'm a freshman at WHS! I wanted to start and teach at FSC because I wanted to spread programming knowledge and awareness to more people, and have younger people learn to code, as it's a great skillset to have in the 21st century.
Hello, I’m Kaiden, a freshman at WHS. Ever since I picked up coding at the early age of 8 years old, I’ve fallen in love with the art. It’s always held a special place in my heart. Through this program, I hope to spread awareness to what I consider one of the backbones of society: the skill of coding!
Hello, my name is Taksh and I'm currently a freshman at Washington High School. I'm happy to be part of the team and want to share my knowledge. I've done some courses in Python and JavaScript over the years. I'm here to do my part and help the students grow as programmers.
Please arrange transportation arrangements in advance. Leaving early is excusable, but please notify us.
