Is FreeTreat a boarding facility similar to WAGS?
Nope! FreeTreat is a small business run from the comfort of our home. We strive to make your pets feel as comfortable as they do in their own home.
Will my pet be alone for long periods of time?
When boarding pets, we do our best to ensure someone is home at all times. Occasionally, we may need to step out briefly; however pets will never be left alone for more than 4-5 hours. Before leaving, we make sure each pet has had a long walk, potty break, fresh water and food.
What does FreeTreat offer?
Attentive, quality care
Safe, secure neighborhood
Cozy, home-like environment
Daily photos and updates
Crate-free options available
Small group interactions
Exclusive stays (upon request; additional rates may apply)
...and more!
Does FreeTreat offer a spacious boarding area?
We live in an apartment, with limited space and no backyard :( However, we're located in a tucked-away neighborhood right across the beach and next to Washington Park! We offer 3-4+ daily walks around the park and beach, and we're happy to take your pet to the dog park upon request.
How are rates calculated?
Nightly rates are based on a 24 hours time period from drop-off to pick-up. Extended rates may apply for each pet on the booking if the end time on the final day of the stay is more than 2 hours later than the start time on the first stay.
How do holiday rates work?
If any part of your booking falls within a holiday period, the holiday rate will apply to the entire stay. For example, the holiday period for Memorial Day is May 23-26. If your booking is from May 24-28, the holiday rate will be applied to all dates of the stay.
However, if your booking overlaps with a holiday period and is two weeks or longer, feel free to reach out - we'd be happy to discuss a rate accommodation.

Does FreeTreat crate pets?

Does FreeTreat accept non-social, ill or unfriendly dogs?
