About Free State Corvettes

Who We Are...

In May of 1969, a small group of people got together to form the Free State Corvette Club, an organization that would serve their common interests, the CHEVROLET CORVETTE. Today FSCC has about 130 members. We come from all walks of life, and towns all over Maryland and West Virginia. Our members’ cars range from all model years, from the mint, pristine condition to Vettes driven everyday with lots of “experience”.

The Free State Corvette Club is based out of Catonsville, Maryland in Baltimore County. We are the club that brings you Corvette Weekend in Ocean City, Maryland.  We are a group of serious Corvette enthusiasts who enjoy our cars and the company of like-minded people. Most often, you can find our Club cruising on a Sunday afternoon, going to places of interest, and then sharing a laugh or two over dinner at a nice restaurant and then heading off to our respective homes

Come Visit Free State....

What is Corvette Weekend?

"Ocean City Weekend"…where it all began. The Activities Director at the time organized a weekend in Ocean City, MD. and talked hotel management at the Flagship to let members have a crab feast around the pool. They also went to the go-cart track right over the Rte. 50 bridge. It became an annual event after that & eventually grew into the car show & fundraiser we have today!

Corvette Weekend Planning Meetings

Corvette Weekend Planning Meetings are typically held on the second Thursday of the month.  The meetings are held at the FOP Lodge #69 located at 2832 Nine Mile Circle, Catonsville, MD 21228 and begin at 7:00pm. These meeting are held January through November.

After all is said and done, FSCC is primarily a "fun, social" club. If it sounds like you are missing out, that’s because you are!  Hope to see you at the next general membership meeting.
