Please understand that it was not my intent to mislead anyone when responding to your email. The form email I responded to suggested that no experts that had been recommended by advocacy organizations have assessed Lucy. I clarified that Dr. Cracknell, who was originally identified as a qualified specialist by Zoocheck, did assess Lucy.

The email also indicated that Lucy has gone down on more than one occasion due to colic. To me, this implied she fell to the ground which was not the case so I clarified she lied down. As the records you have included indicate, our team takes great care in monitoring, identifying, responding to and reporting any medical events involving our animals including Lucy colic episodes.

Finally regarding future assessments, as I indicated previously, we have had many experts identified by multiple groups and individuals including Free The Wild, Zoocheck and LEAP and have considered them for the panel of specialists we are assembling this fall.
