Many organizations struggle with tracking projects and task progress efficiently, especially when managing multiple team members and deliverables. Managers often lack real-time visibility into who is responsible for what, how tasks are progressing, and which projects are at risk of delay. Without a centralized and interactive tool, decision-making becomes reactive rather than proactive.
This project aimed to build a simple yet effective two-page dashboard using Microsoft Excel to help streamline project and task monitoring. The dashboard is designed to be interactive, offering real-time filtering and insights, specifically allowing managers to track responsibilities and progress at a glance.
Nigeria’s education sector has faced persistent challenges relating to infrastructure quality, student-teacher ratios, sanitation, and regional disparities. While several policies have been implemented, the lack of accessible, geo-referenced, and visual data makes it difficult for stakeholders to assess the current state, identify gaps, and drive targeted improvements.
This project aims to analyze and visualize a comprehensive dataset on baseline educational facilities in Nigeria collected across three years (2010, 2012, and 2014), highlighting key metrics such as the distribution of schools, student-teacher ratios, teacher qualifications, and access to basic facilities like water and sanitation.
Understanding the condition of health infrastructure is crucial for improving healthcare delivery in Nigeria. However, much of the existing data remains scattered, unstructured, or underutilized. From 2010 to 2014, geo-referenced baseline survey data on health facilities was collected across Nigeria, but there was no clear visual summary to communicate the gaps and strengths across various regions.
This project aims to clean, analyze, and visualize this data to highlight disparities, infrastructure availability, and access to essential health services, and to present findings in a format that informs decision-making and encourages discourse on the state of healthcare systems in Nigeria.
