By utilizing the Montessori Method, it is easy to meet the individual needs of learners through hands-on materials and academic experiences in nature. Learners are presented with lessons in a specific order that builds on prior knowledge. Tutors observe learners for mastery and then present the next challenging lesson. Mastery requires students to fully comprehend a lesson before moving on to the next one. This is why students thrive in a Montessori setting. All subject areas are covered to meet students' needs: language arts, math, science, geometry, history, geography, character development, fine and gross motor skills, and the arts.  

Elementary-aged students are welcome to join us on the educational farm for group homeschool enrichment sessions! Ms. Melanie has been providing nature-based homeschool enrichment since 2015. She is very excited to implement her program in the Tampa Bay area. 

FMA combines the independence and individualization of the Montessori approach and curriculum with learning about regenerative farming practices. Students will learn about growing healthy food, gardening principles, life cycles, spending plenty of time in nature, having fun with friends, and working on character development through daily activities. 

Students are presented Character Development lessons and clear expectations, allowing them to use self-discipline. Students are given the time to understand expectations, support as needed, practice needed skills, and learn from their mistakes. Each student is allowed to be the best version of themselves. 

This style of self-directed learning works exceptionally well for homeschool families.  

As part of the daily Montessori enrichment sessions, students will enjoy nature while engaging in academic Montessori lessons. All subject areas are covered. Enrichment sessions are individualized to each learner's needs while in a group setting. 

Students enjoy the natural beauty of the farm while learning and creating fond memories with friends.
