3. If you are able to update your firmware try burning the game again but you need to set the layer break manually. I know it's supposed to do it automatically but it doesn't do it right on xbox360 games, so got to TOOLS->SETTINGS->WRITE and set the layer break to "user specified" 1913760. Burn at 2.4x speed and don't mess with the bitsetting, the newest imgburn will do it automatically. Make sure to use the .dvd file and not the iso.

4. If the updated firmware version is more than a year old and your DL burner is OEM, buy a brand new DL burner they're cheap, best buy, fry's, comp usa doesn't really matter what brand just shop around. On sale they're between $50-70 and they'll work with the newer DL media. It's better than spending another $30 buying discs that your burner still won't burn.

Personally my DL burner that I was having trouble with is still in my computer but I only use it to burn single layer discs (4.7G), it's all it's good for. It came with the system from the factory and is a samsung TS-H652L. I bought a new samsung DL from circuit city and spent $58, and I can use any brand media DL memorex, verbatim it doesn't matter. I burn them all at 4x speed and they come out great. They all play great on my XBOX360 with a flashed hitachi 78 drive no problems. Hope that helps!!!

The .dvd file should tell ImgBurn where to place the layerbreak, and if it didn't work for you before then the .dvd file was incomplete/incorrectly made. It's better to leave the layerbreak option in Calculate Optimal or you're risking to have a wrong layerbreak when you burn anything else than a xbox360 game. Also notice that when you load an image ImgBurn shows the layerbreak position in the Sectors field of the image information box, so you should always keep an eye on it

wtf?? Why is that rubbish lightning uk? Don't get me wrong, imgburn is great. It's alot better than some of the other programs i tried using. The layer break for the xbox360 is the only thing that works perfect if entered in manually. Between me and 2 of my friends we have 9 coasters to show for it. We all use imgburn and find user specified to work perfect. And it's not the .dvd files because i've checked to make sure name and layer break are correct. Burned 20+ games since then no problems. Idk , go figure.

Lol . It's rubbish because he wrote the program. I beta test it and have burnt over 100 xbox 360 games using ImgBurn with .DVD file created via xbc and they all work and have the layerbreak exactly where it should be when used with option Calculate Optimal

That's cool, I ain't complaining about it or trying to post negative info about imgburn. I mean a program i can download off the net that'll allow me to do what I need All i know is i got a brand new burner, used verbatim media, left settings on auto and burned game @ 2.4x and no deals. Checked the log, layer break was correct. Popped in another disc, set user specified, used same media same speed and solid. Left it that way and had no trouble since even with different media. Helped my friends that had the same problem and it's what works. I mean i could care less really what all the techie guys think, i'm just helping the guy out who started this post from wasting money burning up DL discs. They ain't cheap. Verbatim discs are damn expensive, 20 discs for $30, that's a $1.50 each. Waste 2 discs and you could've gone to McD's and bought stuff off the dollar menu. Better to have a full stomach than to be frustrated right.

if u dont have ihas burner its fine no problem and do not waste money on ihas burner

i have burned xgd3 games AC3 and many . u just need a dvd writter thats it . and application called img burner and xbox backup creater .and toplogy patch must be universal patch .and the main thing is u cant play online . if u want to play online u have to get ihas burner

If you decrease the throttle the afterburner will automatically deactivate, and you have to re-enable it with the button combo if you wish to turn it on again, as seen above. If you wish, you can bind any button combination to this feature of course, I just chose A + X because it seemed the easiest to remember.

XISO: just burn to DVD-R using ImgBurn at lowest supported speed - always works unless there is a media or PC burner fault. You can also extract the files from the XISO using C Xbox Tool or Qwix and FTP them to the Xbox.

yep, I know, but that's necessary for XBox original discs. It takes a lot to 1. rip the game on the xbox 2. transfer it via ftp to PC (took half an hour just for 2.5gb last time). I just used Isobuster to check the burned DVD, found the session and extracted it as ISO, all files are there. Strangely Isobuster doesn't show them, but inside the ISO (once extracted) they're visible (with MagicISO). Lol how many programs already

Imgburn is very similar to DVDdecrypter but for xbox 360 backups I think ImgBurn is better. ImgBurn and CloneCd are the best programs available for burning xbox360 backups. If you dont have ImgBurn you can Download it Here. XboxBackupCreator and Schtrom360Xtract v3.1 are also great and recommended for people with Samsung SH-D162C keron flashed drives.

Before you do anything Check and See if you have your booktype on your burner set to Dvd-rom. If you have the Pioneer 111D you can skip this step because it comes set already.

Ok if you dont have the dvd file you will have to make you own open note pad and type in these 2 lines of text

I am in the exact same boat. My EA account is 13 years old and I have a decent amount of purchases on it (was an avid Battlefield player, my fianc loves the Sims, I've enjoyed some of the latest Star Wars offerings as well as the occasional sports game). I understand that this restriction is in place for security reasons, but the inability to EVER change the linked account for the lifetime of the EA account for ANY reason is insane. The chat agent told me "You may try to link your new Gamertag with an another EA Account as there is no way to link it with the same EA Account." which is basically "Create a burner EA account so you can use EA Play". What good can this honestly do? This makes it so I will never spend a dime on DLC for any game in EA Play as I do not want to have to worry about security on yet another account (I already have to keep an eye on: EA, Ubisoft, Steam, EGS, Xbox, GOG, and Blizzard... now I add a SECOND EA account to that... no way). It also makes it so if I ever cancel EA Play I won't be able to carry over my progress to games that I may end up wanting to buy after my membership ends therefore... I won't buy games on the burner account.

I can't see why this same six month cool down period couldn't apply to linking a new Xbox account to an EA account that has previously had an Xbox account linked. i.e. One xbox account every six months per EA account.

@thekurseThe only reason i can see is to unlink and relink to a new EA account. I wish it would have a big warning when saying you could never link another Xbox account. I don't get the point either, i have access to my email and access to all accounts involved, who cares if i link another xbox to an EA account?? just a baffling choice to limit it to 1 account ever.

@EA_Jason I did see one way i could maybe get it linked was to launch an EA game on an xbox console, but i dont own a current gen one. I mean, i have a 360, but not sure any of those EA games servers still work or if i could get it working again. So that probably wouldn't work.

Today those titles are rather expensive, but for those lucky enough to own a 3DO, the internet is filled with ISO-files waiting to be burned to CDR:s, and played in a 3DO console. Since noone owned a cd-burner at the time the console was released, the 3DO has no protection against playing burned games. In this post, I will sum up some tips on how to burn games for the 3DO. I wrote a similar post about the Dreamcast a while ago, see: How to burn games for Dreamcast.

When you download a game for 3DO, it is usually a bin (or img) + cue file in a compressed archive. Unpack these two files, and open the cue file in your favorite burner. I use IMGburn. The cue-file points at the bin file with some extra information. If the cue file for some reason does not point at the bin-file, edit the cue file and check if there is any path given to the bin-file. Remove this part. The link to the bin/img-file should look something like below, given that the two files are in the same directory:

The basic spec of the arcade game basically means that there are no problems whatsoever in creating a nigh-on perfect copy on both consoles, with just one difference. The Xbox 360 version of Afterburner Climax features full-on 4x multi-sampling anti-aliasing while the PS3 game has absolutely none whatsoever. 0852c4b9a8
