I got the same problem both with Winzip 16.5 and Winzip 19. Both are original versions downloaded from Winzip. I'm really interested why such a widely used application is not correctly filtered/excluded from eset av scanner. (Esest Smart Security 8.0.312.0)

I have a View Horizon 7.0.2 setup. I am running a Instant Clone pool of Windows 7 VMs. AppVolumes version 2.11. I created a Win7 vm and install my WinZip application on it and created an AppStack. I log to AppVolumes Manager and provision/configure the appstack successfully. I then successfully assign the appstack to the user and system in my instant clone pool. but when I login to the instant clone vm, I do not see my app (winzip) on the desktop. My vCenter shows the appstack vmdk mounted on the VM as hard disk #2, but Windows does not show the software as installed.
My guess is that the winzip application you installed is installed in the %APPDATA% folder and not in the program files. Try using the "Run As Administrator" option to install it. Also make sure the startmenu shortcuts are in the c:\Programdata...\Start menu folder and not the the %APPDATA%...\Start menu folder.

Is this me or everybody is puzzled what is up with downloading 1 photo from Icloud photo, not only the download arrives in form of a .zip file, but also if you happen not to have the winzip trial you have to purchase the **** thing? So bothersome...
If you had it installed for some reason, then it would have associated the zip file type to itself which would make it open with the Winzip application and as such may require you to reset the evaluation version. However, Windows 10 has no issues with opening ZIP files on its own you do not need Winzip at all.
I had some problems installing the Oculus Desktop Application around two weeks ago. I tried for days and even with help from the Meta Store Support I couldn't get it to work. The download was easy and simple. Just a few clicks and I had the setup ready to get started. But at some point in the installation process, My PC shut down. I came back to see a black screen so I restarted the PC and began installing the application again, but when the installation finished, it said "something went wrong, please restart computer and try again" so I did, but it didn't help. I kept trying different methods for days and the support team couldn't figure it out either. There was so many different ways to try so I started trying everything. All the way from going inte BIOS and changing security settings, to downgrading to windows 10 and factory resetting the whole C:/ Drive. Yet.. still nothing. I then got to know that I don't need the Oculus quest to play PCVR so I stopped trying.
