Free Us Coalition

Free Us is a coalition of labor organizers, human rights activists, student groups, and religious leaders who believe that the fight for freedom in Palestine is intertwined with the fight for dignity for workers everywhere. 

The Free Us coalition was started by Amazon workers to answer the call our brother Chris Smalls put out to end labors silence on the genocide of the Palestinian people and to fight Amazons complicity 

The Handala took an international crew of human rights activists. delivering life-saving aid to Palestinians facing genocidal violence from Israel.

Chris Smalls, founder of Amazon Labor Union, was among the crew aboard. This ship was illegally attacked in international waters by Israeli forces, and the activists were kidnapped.

 Of the 21 activists onboard, Chris was singled out for physical assault by the Israeli Immigration authority, where 7 officers beat, kicked, and choked him with his chains. The US Embassy made no effort to ensure Small's safety or return.  

Our goal as an organization is to create, model, and spread reproducible grassroots strategies to make Amazon an active front of the Palestine liberation movement.
