We were all stuck there, we might as well use the time with a captive audience to discuss the things of God, to pray together, to memorize scripture together, and to process through our days. It's currently on sale as a complete Bible ( -word-of-promise-audio-bible-new-king-james-version-nkjv-complete-bible-nkjv-audio-bible). I purchased four individual books for $2.99 each (would be closer to $200 for the whole Bible, that way). After scrolling through every single item in the search, I did finally find the complete Old Testament and the complete New Testament. Last of all, after I had already bought all that, they advertised the complete Bible for sale. I returned all the others, and got the complete Bible.
Audio Bibles would be a lot more useful to my family, if they were integrated with the Logos Bible reading plans, and if you could sync them to your Logos, text Bibles. That way, you could just tap an arrow every day to begin your daily Bible reading. Also, they need some kind of verse picker for the mobile version. As it is, you literally have to scroll through every single chapter in the Bible to find the one you want. You can't type the reference in either. If I'm wrong about that, I hope someone tells me how you can navigate the mobile audio Bibles.
Word of Promise Audio Bible is now available in an app for Android phones and probably for IOS as well. It is also in the Kindle store. You can choose your book and chapter in the app. I have this resource and use it when I am in the car and listen to my Bible while driving. The only complaint I have, and it isn't much of one, is that the dramatization makes it take too long to get through the section I want to listen to. I have Bibles on audible but cannot pick and choose the chapter, so I prefer listening to one of the audio Bibles in Logos or the Word of Promise rather than audible.
Sorry, I meant in the Word of Promise App on my phone. I can choose the Book, chapter, and verse I want to go to without having to scroll through all the Bible Chapters. What you are showing here is what I see when I use the HCSB audio Bible in Logos. I did not even know, before you posted here, that Word of Promise was available in Logos. Since I have already purchased it through the publisher's app, I do not see purchasing it and using it in Logos. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Yeah, I bought the WOP app also. The mobile audio quality is better on the Logos version. --Also bought it on another mobile app, where it has HQ audio, plus a chapter and verse picker, automatic text scrolling, and a car-mode with easy navigation. --Would really like to have that in Logos.

Hello, It was actually a gift for my Mom, Mary Ann. I'm her son.
Now, She got exactly what she wanted in the K.J. version. She loves it. The sound is good and the bible narration is wonderful. But,,,,, She would rather have the N.K.J. version. So, I shall order her another and take the one she got to my shop. I'm out there all the time and would be great to have instead of talk radio. All in all a wonderful product. Especially for someone who's eyesight is bad. And the controls are great. OK, I'm done. lol. Great product.
*When my older kids were probably 3 and 5, I came across these extraordinary audio Bible stories. They are told by a lady named Joelee Chamberlain. She speaks with a gentle, grandmotherly voice. She talks right to her listeners, and I found my kids responding out loud to her questions.
Tapping the Start Audio Bible from the Verse Tap Menu the audio options will expand to allow you to listen to the Bible with 3 options.
1) Listen to the Chapter
2) Listen to the Chapter -- 7 times
3) Listen from here to the end of the Book
Please note to listen to the audio Bible you must have an internet connection and have selected one of the audio Bibles (KJV, NKJV, NLT, RVR60) that was previously installed on the app from Managed Bibles.
When the audio Bible option is enabled a Media Player will apear in the Bible reading text. Once the Media Player is launched it begins playing the audio stream from the BLB servers. This audio will continue playing until you manually pause, stop, quit the player or the audio stream completes. The audio can also continue even if your device sleeps.
This same media player will be launched from Text Commentaries when you have selected to listen to an "Audio" Commentary and from the Greek/Hebrew Pronunciations option.
When listening to audio from a tag_hash_114_____________ connection it is important that you have enabled the apps's Preference tag_hash_115______________ option.
