By using any service provided by ENGLISH-TRAINING you agree to the following code of conduct:
Everyone is welcome! Online lessons are places which are free from any form of discrimination on grounds of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, maternity or pregnancy, race, ethnicity, nationality, language, religion or belief, gender variance, neurodivergence, regional/socioeconomic background, body type or sexual orientation.
All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, illegal content or content which breaks intellectual property rights is strictly prohibited.
Any form of harassment, victimisation or bullying of or among its participants on the above grounds or any others will mean immediate removal of any possible use of the services offered by English Training.
All users of this service make every effort to treat all other users with respect.
By using the services offered by English Training you also agree that:
o all details you provide during the registration process (including any details about your age) are true and accurate. You will inform English training at dos@english-training.org of any details which have changed.
o you will use an appropriate profile name which includes the name you want others to call you by when in class and you will not impersonate another person.
o you are responsible for any activity that happens under your profile name.
You agree that you will not share any personal information (address, password, phone number, email, Messenger ID, personal images, photos or videos) nor will you use, copy or share any personal information or images of any other user unless explicit consent is given.
You agree that at times you may be asked for your permission to record lessons or take screen shots and that you are free to refuse at any time. These screen shots or recordings will only be used for educational purposes but may also be used for promotional purposes by English Training.
You will not use English Training services to promote or advertise other websites or services.
Lesson Agreement
Lesson Agreement
You understand that the teachers in the FREE LESSONS are teachers in training and are training to be qualified teachers and be the best teacher they can be with your help.
You will try to log on at least 2 minutes before the lesson starts.
You will be in a comfortable place with the necessary basic requirements (e.g. water) allowing you to follow the lessons with no negative impact on your physical or mental wellbeing.
You will be in a quiet location
You will have a suitable microphone to use when speaking in the lessons.
You will have headphones or a speaker to be able to hear your teacher and other participants clearly.
You will have a camera connected and turned on so we can verify your identity.
The lighting will be suitable for other users to see your face and identify you.
You will make every effort to connect to the classes on a laptop or desktop PC or tablet and NOT a telephone to help you participate and learn in the best conditions.
You will use ENGLISH ONLY in any communication in the lessons.
By writing your name you commit to attending the class on the days and times advertised.
There is a limit to the number of students in each class. You will be allowed to enter on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.
You will not reserve your place in the class if you do not think you can attend the class.
If you need to share your screen you will not show any personal information or inappropriate images or information visible to other users.
You will NOT record or take photos of others unless requested to do so and these images will only be used during the lesson. As soon as the lesson is finished you will immediately delete any images you have recorded.
You agree to pay full attention during the full duration of the lessons and participate actively in the lesson with the teacher and the other users.
You will appear on screen dressed appropriately and will ensure those around me do so too.
