WWE began to use entrance music in the 1980s, and Jim Johnston played a pivotal role in producing legendary theme songs for WWE wrestlers. In the modern era, WWE has slacked with theme songs, and some wrestlers' songs sound generic with some fans unable to distinguish the song that belongs to certain wrestlers. Nevertheless, some theme songs are not long for this world for one wrestler, and it is better suited for another wrestler.

There have been several occasions where wrestlers have used the same theme song, and die-hard wrestling fans will know who used the theme song first. Moreover, it's not uncommon in wrestling for wrestlers to use the same theme song.

WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson turned heel in late 2005, and she allied with Victoria and Christy Hemme. She used "Need a Little Time" by Lilian Garcia, but she began to use "Not Enough For Me." Torrie used it for eight months, but this theme song is now synonymous with Michelle McCool.

McCool used it one month after Torrie in June 2006. The theme song perfectly fit McCool, and she used it when she was alongside Layla in LayCool. "Not Enough For Me" was McCool's theme song for the remainder of her WWE career before she retired in 2011, and she used it again for sporadic appearances when she competed in women's Royal Rumble matches.

There's no secret that Randy Orton hated his "Burn in my Light" entrance song by Mercy Drive, which he used from August 2004-May 2008. However, on an episode of SmackDown in 2006, Orton debuted "This Fire Burns" by Killswitch Engage. This theme song didn't suit Orton which is why it was dropped after a week, and he returned to using "Burn in my Light."

Enter CM Punk, who became the sole beneficiary of "This Fire Burns." It was the perfect theme song for the Straight Edge Savior, which he used for 5 years until he began to walk down the aisle to "Cult of Personality" by Living Color.

Eddie Guerrero has had many memorable theme songs throughout the years, and on the Music of WCW album, titled "Latino World Order." He began using that theme song in late 1997 and since WWE had the license to WCW's library in 2001, Eddie's nephew Chavo Guerrero Jr. used it as his theme song in the early stages of his WWE career.

You can thank Edge for "Medal" for becoming one of the most popular theme songs in WWE history. That has been WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle's theme song throughout his WWE career. Edge probed the crowd to shout "You Suck" which goes with the melody of Angle's song, every time he walked down the aisle.

Tiffany's WWE career was brief, but she an authority figure as the Assistant General Manager of ECW to Theodore Long. Tiffany wasn't a good in-ring competitor by any stretch of the imagination, and "Insatiable" was her theme song which matched up with her character.

Layla's WWE career was decorated as she won both the WWE Women's and Divas Championships. She's used multiple theme songs with "Not Enough For Me" alongside Michelle McCool as LayCool. However, Layla began to use "Insatiable" as her entrance theme song a year after LayCool split up.

Maria was a part of the 2004 WWE Diva Search and whilst she never cut the mustard inside the ring, she excelled in her role as a backstage interviewer. Maria's first theme song was "Pa-Pa-Pa-Pa-Party" which she used from January 2005 to May 2006. "With Legs Like That" was Maria's entrance song for over three years, and she was suited to that song.

As with many WWE female wrestlers, sometimes they share theme songs. "Pa-Pa-Pa-Pa-Party" became the theme song for former Divas Champion Alicia Fox in 2011. The music suited Fox's character as she liked to enjoy herself which was seen on Total Divas.

Arguably, The Rockers are the greatest tag team to never clinch gold in WWE. Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty were a popular duo in the mid-80s to early 90s and their "Rock Out" theme song matched their personality.

Gabriel didn't use it for long, and it became the theme song for Otunga. Unquestionably, it was more suited to Otunga and it matched up with his personality as a Harvard Law Graduate. Michael McGillicutty used it as his entrance music when he teamed up with Otunga when they were holding the WWE Tag Team Championship.

A lot of Japanese wrestlers in WWE used "Orient Express" as their entrance theme song. Mr. Fuji took the Orient Express under his wing, and they used "Orient Express" as their entrance music throughout their run in WWE. The Orient Express had an outstanding tag team match with the Rockers at the 1991 Royal Rumble.

"Real American" is one of the most iconic theme songs in the history of professional wrestling. The song encapsulates Hogan's polarizing run as the undisputed babyface of WWE. Hogan was patriotic, and he won multiple WWE Championships and headlined several WrestleManias, en route to making WWE the conglomerate that it has become.

I was under the impression that it worked in a similar way to entrance theme songs where you could only use them if they were in a playlist by themselves. This is good news for me because it'll save me a half hour when I put the music on my xbox 0852c4b9a8
