Problem 1 c (The main problem): After bringing in the File Media Source, I create a Media Player, which I open. I then double click the media file in the section below the video, wait a few seconds, and then can see the video showing in the Output section next to Video Texture. That media texture will also show the video, and I can add it to a material and watch the Video display on any 3D mesh.

The problem is caused by Windows Media Player and not by Windows.I've just changed the settings on Windows Media Player. I prevent it from being my default player, from adding any file to this player's library or doing any other automatic action. (go through all the possibillies and check) and I got read of this annoying phenomena. Now each song or album has the picture I want it to have.

When playing audio in an ICA session using Windows Media Player, it starts out working fine. If you fast forward or pause the playback and restart, the audio stops though media player appears as though it is playing. Also if you create a playlist and start playback, it plays the first selection in the list ok, it will appear to play the 2nd selection but no audio is heard. I created an RDP connection to one of the XenApp servers and the audio works fine. I have duplicated this issue on a Windows client, HP thin client and and iGel thin client.

Expected behaviour: When a podcast is paused in the background for a while, pressing Play via the Media Player in the notification shade should play the podcast immediately. Ideally the app should have around 5-10 seconds of audio ready to play.

If it's possible, you should give your built-in Media Player in Firefox because I use it more often than my VLC media player installed (the UI when you're trying to play a media file via Firefox) a revamp!
Firefox Mobile (tested in Android) can't play local files (mp3 files or whatever). It's a shame, because this feature is on chrome. So to play music I have to either download some sketchy music player or use chrome. 0852c4b9a8
