Hello, I have a hi10 pro hq64g42170100364 and after reinstalling windows it does not work the touch, I installed the official drivers of hi10 pro, hi10 and hi10 plus, all of them the touch was recognized but very different places from where I had touched, I tried using the windows tool for calibration and it was no use, how to solve?

i need if a driver that works on a clean install of windows, i dont like to use a manufacturer iso, all my gadgets i take the manufacturer system.

And there is no reason why the driver does not work on a clean windows iso.

I have hp pavilion-360 laptop model 11-n010dx. the problem is touch screen stopped working and there is no any option available on control panel to enable and disable. I have checked on device manager to update driver if outdated or have any other issue but i cant find it. i have tried to download the driver from HP official website and still there is no driver for touch screen.

This is either a problem with the driver, or possibly with the screen hardware. I found a post on the HP forums addressing both: -Video-Display-and-Touch/HID-Compliant-Touch-Screen-Driver-Missing/td-p/6448367

Check whether or not there are system updates on your computer, go to Update and security > Windows Update > Check for updates. In my case, the newly added features has helped my find my touch screen interface driver.

Essentially, in an attempt to fix my touchscreen issue, I disabled my touchscreen driver and restarted my PC. I was informed that my PC would redownload the touchscreen driver, and it did not. For the past week I've been trying every guide and every video available to re-enable my touch screen. I lack the driver, and I need that in order to move forward.

The longer version: I was installing drivers from a third party, and after I restarted my PC my touchscreen no longer worked. I then learned how to go into "Device Manager" and actually see all the drivers my PC has available. I viewed the hidden drivers, and found the touchscreen driver. It was still enabled, which confused me because it clearly was not working. I found aforementioned video guide that said to disable it, and restart PC. Upon restart, touchscreen still did not function. As I looked into the device manager, the touch screen driver was nowhere to be found.

From there, I went to this video by HP which explained step by step what to do. I completed every step, including the UEFI Diagnostics where you use the touchscreen to press and slide the squares. To both my relief and confusion, this worked. I am able to use the touchscreen when doing the diagnostic in the UEFI mode. However, upon restarting my PC, the touch screen still does not work. Because of this, I am confident it is not a Hardware problem, but a software problem. I don't know a great deal about computers, but you could probably imagine how confusing it would be to know you can use the Touchscreen for diagnostics, but not for regular use. Apparently I need the driver itself to communicate that to the touchscreen Hardware.

I've browsed this forum for a while trying to find a solution, and it seems like everyone who has had this issue did NOT find a resolution. I find this really concerning, because it's just a touchscreen driver I am missing and need to download. I've downloaded graphics drivers from here, all the drivers on the "detect my drivers", etc. Nothing I have done has resolved the problem, so I am asking for help.

You'd think I'd be asking for trouble. In fast, it's amazing. Literally everything worked, first try, with ZERO third party drivers. Blueooth, wireless, graphics, everything. Worked and worked immediately. Nothing was banged out in Device Manager. Even the touch screen worked, but only with 1 point of touch. That meant no pinch to zoom in browsers or maps. Cool, but I wanted to see if I could fix it.

If after updating the operating system to Windows 10 the touch function does not work, the computer chipset driver is the fault, not the display.

The computer Chipset Driver is the one that controls all of the computer USB ports which is used to access the display touch function.

Search for an updated Chipset Driver for Windows 10 and install it. Dell.com/Support/Drivers/Home

Then re-test monitor touch.

If you experience the touchscreen responding inaccurately, not sensitive, or not responding at all, please refer to the following troubleshooting in order. If your touchscreen doesn't have right-click function, please refer to How to set the right-click function for touchscreen.

If the touchscreen problem happens recently, and if you have ever created a restore point or there is an automatic system restore existed, try to restore the computer to a point before the problem began to resolve the problem. Here you can learn more about How to use restore point to restore the system. If problems persist, please continue to the next step.

I replaced my NVMe drive and installed Windows, then went to the Aya Neo site and reinstalled all the drivers. However, the touch screen no longer works or even appears in Device Manager. I also installed all Windows updates, but no luck.

We have 2 custom-made kiosks that I'm trying to upgrade the computers in. The current computers are running Windows XP and I'm trying to replace them with PCs running Windows 7. I've gotten everything to work except the touchscreens.

I've attached a photo of the touchscreen controller. The XP machines have touchkit 3.8.1 installed on them. According to it the controller is SA421 with firmware 2.28. The device ID in device manager is "USB/VID_0EEF&PID_0001&REV_0010". The controller is made by Atouch but they don't offer any driver downloads on their site.

The second one I tried was from this website Opens a new window and was the first one listed under Windows 7 (5.12.0.11912). It installed the correct driver but I couldn't get the touchscreen adequately calibrated. The closest I could get was the cursor position was correct on the left side but on the right the cursor was about 3/4" to the right and 1/4" below where I touched. Even getting to that point took several attempts using the 9-point calibration and physically adjusting where I touched the screen during calibration. The 4-point and 25-point calibration attempts were even worse.

Since you can't replace the unit, I would suggest you contact AKG Tech/SAW touchscreens to ask them if they having a working driver for windows 7 for your model sawusbda54. if not ask if just the touch screen controller board/usb interface board can be upgraded to a newer version supporting windows 7.

Your Power Management settings may disable your touchscreen from time to time, causing it to disconnect and stop working temporarily. You can quickly fix this by making one minor adjustment in the Device Manager. Follow the guide below for further instructions.

Windows includes a HID class driver and corresponding HID IC, HID USB and HID BTH miniport drivers. So there is no need to develop 3rd-party drivers for Windows Touchscreen devices that use one of these buses (unless you are developing or using a 3rd-party bus controller). Just be aware that using a bus that is different from the ones listed, might result in the need for a third party miniport driver to expose the Touchscreen as a HID device to Windows.

You only need to report the usages that are described in this section, in the firmware for your Windows Touchscreen device. Windows will use your firmware and its own HID drivers to enable touch and gesture capabilities for your device, and give Windows applications access to your device.

It is important to note that only touch solutions that use Microsoft inbox drivers are considered compatible. Any solutions that use 3rd-party drivers (either miniport or filter drivers) cannot apply for compatibility.

I am developing a touch screen driver for windows 7 , it works fine when a single display is attached but when i attach a secondary display the touch inputs get mapped only to the primary display . Is there any way in which i can map the touch inputs to the secondary monitor ?

Starting with Windows 8, a touch digitizer must appear as a touch screen (page = 0x0D, usage = 0x04). A stylus digitizer must appear as an integrated pen (page = 0x0D, usage = 0x02) or an external pen (page = 0x0D, usage = 0x01). Integrated touch and pen devices are mapped to the display that they are physically connected to. External pen devices are mapped to the virtual desktop.

While some in this thread say drivers to pass touch input through to a host operating system has never been on the DX roadmap, I must beg to differ because I was under the same impression in the early days of the DX. I was under the impression that both passing through touch input and presenting the DX webcam to the host OS as a camera were "coming soon" after the DX launch. I find it improbably that so many of us all had the same idea seeded in our head, so I suspect strongly we must have all heard such a claim from the same source. I suspect it was at the Cisco Live! keynote where it was announced.

Can you elaborate on the DX80 upgrade, what is the appropriate directory ? Have you ever done this ? Does it work with any TFTP server or i still have to instal CUCM and activate the TFTP from there ? I have read the info's posted by cisco on the matter and not succeeded in doing the upgrade, further more, after default reset (powr + vlm up + mute), the device upgraded automatically to the sipdx80.40-2-4jbt0-146 load (I can mention that I did not set up any CUCM server) and after this auto-upgrade the touchscreen does not work anymore (In the android interface of course). 2351a5e196
