The film was launched on 11 February 2005 at AVM Studios in Chennai with the cast of the project in attendance.[22] In early April 2005, two songs for the film were shot in Switzerland with costumes brought in from Paris for the shooting.[23] Shooting continued and the film finished production in July 2005.[24]
