I have setup my issue security scheme for our service desk project, however, according to documentation, a lock icon should appear on the upper right corner of my issue. In our case, it doesn't appear there so I can't set a security level for the specific issue

But anyway, I have already found the problem on why it wasn't showing up, I found out that I have to also set the Security Level field in my screens for it to show up. Now I can see the lock icon on the upper right corner of our issues

Self Lock is the unique feature that lets you protect your identity in E-Verify and Self Check by placing a "lock" in E-Verify on your Social Security number (SSN). This helps prevent anyone else from using your SSN for an E-Verify case. If an employer enters your locked SSN in E-Verify to confirm employment authorization, it will result in an E-Verify Tentative Nonconfirmation (mismatch). With Self Lock, you are always in control - you can unlock your SSN any time a new employer needs to confirm your employment authorization in E-Verify. Your Self Lock remains active as long as your account remains valid, and you have not unlocked your SSN. The Self Lock feature is only available to myE-Verify account holders.

To lock your SSN, you must select and answer three challenge questions. Select questions you can easily answer, because you will need to answer them again to verify your identity if you receive an E-Verify Tentative Nonconfirmation (mismatch) due to Self Lock.

Kensington does have a device that actually locks arms in place around the screens...depending on the exact laptop in question it may interfere with the visuals, though. They claim it will work on any standard 13"-17" laptop.

If you are looking for a physcial lock for your YOGA 900+ ultrabook or any other ultrabook that does not have a Kensington lock option and DOES have a 3.5 audio jack: J-Plug Lock imho is the perfect lock.

I would suggest a small closeable (zipper) bag/pouch or the like to keep the lock in it while travelling, so you do not loose the needle bracket and/or the back cover. If the Multplx Tool (screwdriver) fits in there as well, even better :)

I found and purchased a great solution from Multplx called the Anchor laptop security lock adapter, it locks into my 3.5mm headphone port in seconds and allows me to attach my existing t-bar laptop lock cable to it!, its made from aluminium and looks greatGot it from their online store -security-anchor

Just installed a new Smar Lock right out the box. Everything work great until I inserted the key to test the manual unlock. Key will not come back out. Someone on YouTube had the same problem but there was no solution.

You used to leave your analog watch lying around, but that's not a good idea with a Samsung smart watch, unless you've set a security lock. With no protection, anyone can access your personal data. But when you set a screen lock, your watch will lock itself after a certain amount of time, and you'll need to enter a PIN or pattern to unlock it.

After unlocking, the watch will stay unlocked as long as it detects that you are wearing it. A snug fit will let the watch know you're keeping it on, but a loose fit may cause it to require unlocking more frequently.

Every time you want to make a payment with Samsung Pay, you have to enter your lock PIN and your payment PIN, which is repetitive. Make it so your smart watch only locks when you want to make a payment.

In order to ensure the safe transportation of travelers, TSA screens all checked and carry-on baggage before it is permitted to be brought onboard commercial aircraft. Technology generally enables us to electronically screen bags without opening them, but there are times when we need to physically inspect a piece of luggage. TSA has worked with several companies to develop locks that can be opened by security officers using universal "master" keys so that the locks may not have to be cut. These locks are available at most airports and many travel stores nationwide. The packaging on the locks indicates whether they can be opened by TSA.

The image below is a collection of 244 locks pulled from under an airport baggage handling conveyor belt where the two belts come together. These were collected over a period of one month at a New York Airport.

Recently bought & returned this laptop because I could not find a HP, Kensington or Targis locking cable to fit this unit.

The reseller nor [edit] (8 different departments) could not answer exactly what HP or 3rd party cable would fit the lock slot.

One HP department said I needed part # TOY14UT and another department said no this only fits businerss models.

Why doesn't the manual, which wasn't easy to locate, state what brand or model of locking cable was required.

I cannot be the only one that finds this very frustrating & unbelivable that there isn't a HP Laptop /notebook chart outling what lock slots are on each model eg. 1.0 standard, 2.0, mini, micro or nano.

Thanks for your reply Raj1788,

As mentioned in my previous posts ...Model #: 15-CS0003CA

You mentioned your solution "TOY15AA" security lock was a common lock used on all notebooks however when I went to Staples and tried out 2 standard Kensinton locks and 1 standard (regular} Targis lock none of these seemed to fit.

Also went to Vision Electronics and one of their sales people tried another standard Kensington lock which also didn't fit or lock properly.

I gather from my research that the newer slim laptop /notebooks require the newer Kensington 2.0 mini/micro locks not the standard 1.0 lock.

Help. I have the same issue. I have HP Pavilion - 15-cs0059nr laptop. I have purchased and tried 3 different cable locks: Targus Defcon, Kensington Microsaver 2.0, Kensington Ultra Cable. Each were advertised as fitting over 99% of all laptop computers. Yet none of them fit this laptop. I just spent about half an hour in a chat with HP Support and they could not identify which cable lock fits and referred me to HP shopping. I am quite doubtful that they can help. Appreciate if someone knows what cable lock will fit this laptop.

I called HP Sales (actually twice). First guy had a really bad attitude and didn't want to help me at all. Wanted to transfer me to parts. I called back HP Sales and spoke with another guy who had a better attitude and would help. He says that the correct cable lock for this unit is the TOY14UT. So I ordered this lock for $19, and hope it works.

I spent an hour with HP sales. As far as they can tell there is no (correct) information about a lock for this computer. What gives? How can HP sell a laptop with a mysterious locking slot which doesn't fit the industry standard? Anyone have any ideas how to lock this laptop?
