I suddenly stopped getting notifications on my iPhone 14 Pro. It however does show a red icon that there is a new message or more ... but when I swipe down Whatsapp doesn't appear in the Notification Centre. I did a hard reset and also reset Location & Privacy. All the correct settings are in place ... but still nothing works. The very same thing happened on my previous iPhone 13 Pro. Anybody else experiencing the same issue? All my other apps seem to be working just fine.

Had problem with no notifications coming through on WhatsApp for iPhone 15, found out wife had archived all messages, this stopped the notifications. Had to clear message and unarchive the sender. App notifications now come through. Hope this helps someone.

Yes exact the same with me and I have raised many time with Apple customer care , they either hung up the phone or they dont have any solution and repeat the same answer "reset your phone" ..or speak with whatApp. can someone raise this to Apple head office .. I am planing to buy iphone 15 pro max and if it happens the same with .. it will be disaster ..

I don't have any Focus set, and I have my phone on and unlocked and set to not lock, so I see the "live" screen all the time. Yet, if I'm doing something like actually working on my work PC and not staring at or touching my iPhone, no notifications come through until I either pick up or look directly at my iPhone. This happened on my iPhone 12 Pro when I upgraded too. I have reset my phone twice now and still no luck. I've made sure all the notifications are turned on when I reopen all apps after the restart but still nothing. It's negatively effecting my work too as I need to constantly check work related apps to make sure I haven't missed anything important. I had the same problem. Absolutely no notifications on IOS 17.1.1! Spoke to apple support and after a bit of troubleshooting, they asked me to take backup, restore the OS and then restore from backup.

Unfortunately I lost ALL of my WhatsApp chat/video/everything history this way. WhatsApp does not have automatic backups and when uninstalling and reinstalling the app everything was lost. Truly tragic. Wish I never updated to iOS 17.1.1. Rand STILL no notifications while also losing everything in WhatsApp.

For some reasons I am not getting notifications from some of my contacts, If I am holding the phone and it is unlocked, then I get the notification (both sound and vibration) if however, it is not in my hand, or unlocked then I get absolutely nothing, no sound, no vibration, not even a notification to the watch. It is very frustrating as I miss important messages, or I do not see them for hours until I next open my phone. It only seems to do it to some (one in particular).

Anyhow, I've got a few iphone users that are not receiving notifications at all for chats. I just spent 20 mins troubleshooting with one that's got the gmail app and the Chat app installed and she's getting nothing. Not red bubble, no push notification, nothing. I've read Google's instructions, searched thru subs, checked background permissions, reinstalled the app, and can't find anything wrong with her settings. The only thing I can think of is if another device is picking up those chats so her phone won't, but we logged out of everything, sent a test, still nothing.

On my iPhone Anki is showing the wrong badge card count on the Anki icon. And is missing from notifications list in iPhone settings. Deleting and reinstalling, and a re synch still does not show in the notification section of settings.

Yes I have the same issue, message notifications make a sound when unlocked, but not when locked, Lock Screen does not even light up when notification received. If I wake it up the notification is there.

I'm a host and used to get notifications from the app every time there's a booking request or guest contacting me. Now I've stopped receiving these notifications for some reason... It's important for me to react quickly on requests.

I've checked my iphone and the Airbnb app is no longer in the "Message center" and it's probably the reason why I'm not getting the alerts. However, when I go to the Airbnb app it's not possible to add it to the message center... very weird. Anybody knows about this bug??

@Cynthia-and-Chris1 I think this was a temporary glitch. My phone settings had (and still have) all notifications set ON for AirBnB, and it had been working well for the past year. Then a few notifications were never delivered. Now it seems to be working again. For me, at least; can't speak for others.

I'm also set up to receive duplicate notifications via standard SMS text message, and those also failed to appear for the ones that failed to be delivered from the app. That combo effect points to something "deeper" in AirBnB's notification system than just a problem with the app.

Finally I got it figured out! I deleted the app (twice) and reinstalled it and then I was asked whether I wanted notifications from this app. So now it's under my notifications again and hopefully I'll get alerts from now on 2351a5e196
