Thanks for your suggestion. Sorry, I should have said. I tried Safe Mode; the problem was the same, and I also refreshed Firefox. Since then, though, I've found that some videos play so am wondering if it's some kind of facebook/Firefox linked issue with some of the video clips.

When scrolling posts on Facebook, there are random jumps up to 6 new posts forward. It is necessary to scroll back and look for the last displayed post (photo, video, txt). It looks like firefox doesn't remember the last displayed position before updating the cache. It is very annoying because there is always a flicker.

I'm having this problem on facebork also..It's driving me a bit goofy...Currently using version 102.0.1. I've tried to downgrade to an earlier version but firefox just gives me a message saying that my profile might get corrupted or somethin like that if I don't create a new one...spose I coulda created a blank profile and tested it *shrug*

I have the same problem, and this solution works for me.You can find "Restart with Add-ones disable" in "Help" menu, the firefox will restart with safe mode, check the video works or not, then switch back to see how about it then.

It's possible that a problem with Firefox is causing Facebook to not function correctly. This could be a missing or corrupt program file, or a problem with the Firefox settings. Download and install the latest version of the program from the official website at mozilla.org. This process will replace any files that have been erased or damaged, add the latest features and bug fixes, and improve compatibility with websites and other applications. If an update doesn't fix the problem, uninstall Firefox completely to remove all traces of the software before starting the installation process again from scratch. 0852c4b9a8
