You are correct with the detection algorithms being different between People Counting, and Mobile Tracker. I want to add that Mobile Tracker is built off of Out of Box demo (OOB). People Counting uses Capon3D and OOB uses Bartlett. The tracker library and code is mostly independent from the detection layer, but the problem is where the detection layer is done in OOB (MSS) and people counting (DSS). 6843AOP needs to have detection layer on DSS due to core design choices, so the current model of Mobile Tracker/OOB does not work.

While you can move the detection layer around, because the tracking layer is smaller it is much easier to move that instead and I highly recommend implementing it this way. For this reason, I suggested doing a diff between OOB and Mobile Tracker. Note that Mobile Tracker is literally OOB with tracker added and no other changes. So doing a diff between these two projects you will see exactly what additions are made to add the tracker. Once you note the files/code added to OOB for tracking, you copy them over to the People Counting project. This will ultimately give you detection + tracking on 6843AOP.

I had the latest fit bit app 2.60 which gave me the mobile tracker. I accidentally unpaired the tracker and Now I can't find how it where to add the mobile tracker on my phone. The fitbit.com instructions does not correlate with what is on the app to get the mobile tracker. Does anyone know how to get the mobile tracker on the app

I did everything you instructed to get my mobile tracker back and nothing. Based on a few comments, this is an issue. I would love to have the mobile tracker on my phone because I forget to put my fitbit on and carry my phone when I go for a walk

Hi there @MJK43, welcome aboard to our Community. Note that when you are using MobileTrack, you turn your mobile device as one tracker. So my recommendation for your information stay more accurate, despite the app support multiple trackers, is to use either your Zip or MobileTrack. No combination of trackers is more helpful or accurate than a single tracker. However if you use both at the same time, there are running algorithms that reconcile the overlapping data according to certain criteria. All Fitbit trackers are highly accurate when worn correctly, so prioritizing the data of one tracker over another is usually arbitrary. For that reason I'm unable to answer more specific questions or dive into more details on how this works about overlapping data and how is reconciled.

For example if one of your trackers has GPS data and the other one does not, we'll choose the GPS data when calculating your total distance since GPS is a better indicator of distance than step-counting alone.

If you use your tracker at the same time you use Mobiletrack, It will be your Zip data that it will be sync since the information recorded is more complete. Remember that MobileTrack is like a different tracker, so at the moment to use both, the information will be redundant or the app will choose only one of them to sync.

I wanted to know if Activision is thinking about introducing codm tracker to their companion app. I didnt find any third party application that i can use to view stats beyond the one inside of the game. Now that they have enabled cod login a couple of seasons ago, introducing a tracker wouldnt be that hard right?
