If you still can't find your downloaded files, try checking the Downloads folder on your iCloud Drive or other cloud storage services you may be using. You can also try searching for the filename using the Spotlight search feature on your iPhone.

It seems something has changed and there's many of us using iphone, unable to access and view a shared a folder for work. Andriod users within our company are unaffected. Message is drop box is full and to increase storage. How can we navigate this, something must have changed within iphone setting??

I use the app on my phone as well as through the browser and same error as below. For our company, anyone using android is fine. The iphone users are all having the same problem, which has only occured recently. I can access no problem via MacBook but my phone has htese errors, hope you can help please!

Essentially is this a folder that you've already added to the account, or just an invite to add it? Also, when you say that you can access the folder on your MacBook, do you mean when you open your Dropbox folder locally?

If you visit your account online using your browser, are you able to see the content there? Could you send me a screenshot of the message you get on your end, when trying to access the files in said folder?

I was having the same issue on my iPhone and iPad. I deleted my mail account (Gmail) and then re-added the account to each device. When it re-populated, the VIP folder was working correctly again. I hope this helps you, too.

Are you honestly saying that if you add a new contact as VIP or remove a current contact as VIP, that your VIP folder still works correctly after making a change to the list of contacts that have a VIP destination?

Why can't I just drag and click photos from Windows Explorer anymore? I used to plug in my phone, see my photos in Windows Explorer (under my iPhone folder), and drag and drop over to my computer/external hard drive. Now the photos do not appear. What changed? This is on multiple PCs running different versions of Windows (7-10). Iphone 6s is updated.

I found the solution from madrivergirl was the one that worked for me. The folder will be in the My Pictures>Camera Roll folder if you're using a PC. Copying any random pic file to that folder suddenly let me start viewing my Camera Roll. Several other solutions I found might be helpful to other people with this issue.

Plug in iPhone (mine's a 6), and Windows Auto Play window should pop up. When it does, select Import pictures and videos (NOT open device to view files). Another window will open up showing import progress. After doing this I was able to open Windows Explorer and see my iPhone's internal storage, specifically the DCIM folder where photos are stored. I was just selecting "open device to view files" originally and this did not work. I could see "Owner's iPhone" and "Internal Storage" below it in the explorer tree, but when I clicked on "Internal Storage", nothing would show up in the viewing pane. Selecting the import option when plugging in my iPhone seems to have solved the problem. Hope this helps...

Same issue - and my guess is the same, an iOS issue not MS. Before iOS11, I could plug my iPhone 6s into my Win10 PC (in any state) and File Explorer would ALWAYS show the iPhone, the Internal Storage folder, the DCIM sub folder, and one or more other subfolders with the picture contents of the Camera Roll folder on the phone. Now, it only displays the iPhone and Internal Storage folders - nothing else. UNLESS, you attach the phone in an open state - then it works just like it used to. Thanks Apple, but ios "improvements" like this we just don't need. My Mum would have said "...leave well enough alone.."...

I figured out how to view the pictures. While the phone is plugged in, you have to open it up. There will be a dialogue box saying Trust This Computer/Don't Trust This Computer (it might be device, not computer, but the trust part is the important point). As soon as I tapped trust, the DCIM folder showed up in my iPhone folder in File Explorer. I now remember that Trusting the computer worked before, but didn't remember how to get to the message - simply by logging in to the home screen!!

I just had an employee stop by with the same issue. He said he has been importing photos from his iPhone 6 to Windows 7 for "years" and then it suddenly stopped. I probably spent an hour messing with different things, but I finally found the solution. I uninstalled "Apple mobile device support" from Add/Remove programs, plugged the phone back in, and it reinstalled the "Apple mobile device support" in less than 3 seconds and then it came up on the screen asking what you would like to do with the device (import, open folder, etc.). Hopefully this helps!

Here's my problem and how I removed it. I plug my phone into my computer and I open a Apple folder or it does not show it ... reinstalling and installing the drivers and still not opening a devices manager and searching for a portable device > Apple > Driver > Update Driver > Browse my computer for driver software> >let me pick from list > MTB USB DEVICE . and nothing happens then I got into the iTunes program and gave me sync photos and videos and all the pictures and video came up and my phone was connected without any problem with the computer ?

iphone7 doing the same thing; for the last 100 yrs i plugged my phone (any make/model) into laptop(Win OS) and in windows explorer i'd watch a folder appear. i just drove across america, have 20,000 pics, was to sit down today to process and ...... Can't plug & play with a $750 device?

The suggestion was to make sure that on your pc you have at least one photo in the folder titled "Camera Roll". Put any photo that you have on your pc into that folder. Then disconnect and reconnect your iphone to your computer.

I discovered the my "Sent" folder isn't visible using my Comcast email on my new iPhone 11 base model. Please help walk me through setting this up. So far nothing I've seen on line is working for me. Thanks!

Summary: Change default email away from the address with the missing sent folder, then back again. And you may need to move a message to your junk folder as well. Not sure if that was necessary or not.

Do you have your Comcast mail setup as IMAP or POP? If POP, the sent folder will not appear until you send an email. If IMAP, you should see your Comcast account in grey, tap on that and you should see your list of folders under that, including Inbox, Sent, Trash, etc., however you have folders listed in the IMAP account.

sent emails doesn't appear , may be you send one and appear on a global sent email folder, but await a while or just switch off-on you will never will see again the sent folder, by the way the sent folder of each email account missing forever.

I have this issue from the time I change of mobile to Iphone 11& IOS , I think support must be worried to sell iphones that give a good service, three month awaiting an update that solve this and nothing.

Yes please everyone who has issues wit sent folder please reply this post I think is the only way Apple have mercy on users, after 2 hours with apple support service I have got nothing, even no case number.

iPhone 11 iOS 13.3.1 and having the same problem. My accounts are POP and none of them display a Sent folder even though I have sent emails on my phone from those accounts. I tried to make a duplicate account and it won't let me, so I tried deleting the account, adding it back, sending an email from it and checking to see if the Sent folder appeared, and nothing. Even tried hard powering the phone down and back up. Please fix this soon! My work-around will have to be to bcc myself on everything I send from my phone. Aggravating.

I followed above and This is proven now that whichever account I am marking as default that account all mails except inbox are gone . I had about 8 email accounts. I remember having deleted an unused account which was default account earlier. After that another account became default account and that lost the sent items and other folders. As per above when I change to another account as default even that lost the folder and like that all my email accounts. Strange that thread exists or a year now but Steve Jobs is missing.

Is there any way to move a photo to a folder and keep it there and not have it under all photos? For example, on my iPhone I have a whole bunch of photos that I need to keep but I dont want them clogging up my photos. I move these to a folder but they are still showing in my photos.

The aim of putting of pictures into folders is to keep you film roll (or inbox for mails) as small as possible for when you want to look for a picture. The aim is to have everything in a folder and nothing in the film roll because unlike with emails you cannot search for a picture using key words

No, that is not possible. There is no clogging as photos do not actually move or copied to Albums/Folders. Only a link/flag is kept to display the same photos in the folder/Album. All the photos actually remain in the Photos Library.

In this case, you can try syncing the files from the iPhone. For the local files to show up in Your Library in the app, you can try moving your songs to the Spotify folder found in the Files app > On My iPhone. Make sure you've also allowed Spotify to access Media & Apple Music, which can be done from your device's Settings > Privacy. More info here.

Hii I'm sorry for not having replied earlier I didn't receive any kind of notification. I felt the same way as you did and I still have that problem... but i found a solution after having talked with support for over an hour or so I got so frustrated. But basically what I must do in order for this to work is manually get the song file from my pc on to my phone preferably directly to the app "files" under "On My iPhone" or idk using iCould or OneDrive to just somehow get it to that location. And then under "On My iPhone" there should be a folder called "Spotify" with the Spotify logo on it. Drag the file into this folder and it should appear in spotify. The only thing that really annoyes me is that i have to this sh** every single time.... anyways hope that helped and you didn't end yourself 0852c4b9a8
