PulseEffects application has a system-wide equalizer that you can control on a per-application basis. The application also provides various sound effects / enhancements, like limiter, compressor, reverberation, equalizer and auto volume effects.

PE has a lot more bells and whistles than PAE although I have little idea what most of them do. I have no instructions or manual that guide me or explain what the various applications within mean. Except we do have an equalizer, the main reason why I installed PE. And that one works in a very similar way to PAE, where you can set your own frequencies or presets and name-save them. I see you can even import them from a file of presets which I saved from PAE, but haven't tried this out yet.

I'm trying to display a form in a "Show" View and am wanting to use Foundation's equalizer to make the divs the same height but for some reason it doesn't work with one div being taller than the other.

If your intention was to make the s the same height, you would need to move the data-equalizer-watch from the s to the s. This would also allow you to visually see if Equalizer is working, because of 's border.

Equalizer APO is probably not installed fully and/or correctly. In the folder c:\program files\equalizerapo\config there should be a file called "config.txt". This file is essential as it's going to contain all audio changing commands you enter on an interface for Equalizer APO such as the Configuration Editor, Peace or HeSuVi.

Well I had this issue last year, and now with the Mac OS 11 Big Sur upgrade it's reared its ugly head again: the equalizer in Music is not working. If you have the EQ set to a specific setting, or a customized setting, it doesn't apply it to the audio stream until you turn it off and turn it off again. It decides to turn itself off (even though the checkbox says it's on) intermittently after that, as well. I suspect it turns off every time you select a new playlist, radio station, or album in your Library.

I have the exact same issue on my 2019 16" MacBook Pro. I upgraded to Big Sur 11.1 and couldn't figure out why when I play a song it sounded "muddy". Go to Equalizer and move any of the sliders and BAM equalizer is on. Pause the song playing then hit play again....EQ is off. Get equalizer back on and if the song replays or it moves to next song EQ is off again. Considering I have a large library and don't subscribe to any streaming music services and I listen to music the entire time I'm working its officially the most maddening thing I've ever experienced on a Mac. Glad to know I'm not the only one. Reported my issue also via Apple Support. Tried Pram reset, T2 Chip SMC reset. Nothing has fixed it so I surmise its OS related.

I replied to this thread on March 4th. At that time my 2015 iMac was experiencing this issue. I just received a new M1 Mac mini. Surely I could now move past this problem and start listening to music without having to continually click the 'ON' checkbox on the equalizer for every song I played. But sadly, the issue is present even on new hardware. How can a company that sells a music service be unable to fix a software equalizer to simply make it stay ON?....I just don't get it.

OK was still unable to find how to update drivers from HPSA but did update through link provided. When clicking on updating my system, receive message stating that everything is up to date. However the Beats equalizer still has no sound difference when adjusting sliders on screen.

The product is the B4T87UA#ABL. It did not come with Windows 10. I was upgraded to it. Beats was working fine a few months ago (last time that I had played with the equalizer sliders) and this after Windows 10 was installed.

why is histogram shrinked on Tone equalizer for some pictures (mainly JPGs)?

It shows -1.3 EV for almost black tree! I am not able to increase brightness on the tree, without increasing overall brightness.

It is nicely possible in old not recommended Shadows and Highlights, but not in new Tone equalizer.

But basically, that histogram is not the image histogram, but the blur mask histogram used by that module. In the mask tab, you can tweak the exposure and contrast sliders to get a more spread out mask histogram. Again, this is shown in that video in details.

Volume and equalizer adjustments can still be controlled individually for each speaker in a group, but those adjustments cannot be made at the group level.
