nt 6.2 9200 refers to windows 8.1 , which is weird and only cases that I saw such thing is where the package payload cannot properly detect windows major revisions or cpu arch, it mostly happens with older softwares where a specific version of windows implicitly unsupported( for example a lot of softwares made for up to Windows XP, don't work on windows 10 properly and some don't work at all)

I need to access some meetings over Adobe Connect for the German Course I am doing but I am consistently getting stuck on the "Preparing the room" screen for Adobe connect through browsers or in the adobe connect windows app.

I'm having this exact same issue with the Goethe Institute. I'm on a Mac, might not be OS specific. During my class tonight, my connection quality to the Adobe Connect server suddenly got really bad using the HTML5 client in Firefox. I attempted to reload the browser tab and the webpage would not load (stalled out). I attempted to connect with the desktop app and it also got stuck at "preparing the room".

Our court is having the same issue now. Loading bar won't go past 80% and refuses to connect to the room even after clearing cookies/temp data/browsing history. Uninstalling and reinstalling does not work. Restarting the computer does not work.

As far as I am aware they used the file to ientify the specifice url/ ports that the connect app was using and allowed them throughthe corporate network. It appears that there is a range of connections that had to be allowed access. The firewall had to be congigured to allow that range through. IT support said that it appeared to be one for each licence that was attempting to connect.

I installed adobe connect and configured on a server and I have a domain, It's all connected and working, I can create meetings and every thing, but when I try to get in to a meeting I can't and adobe connect application stuck on connecting. I opened 443,80,1935 ports on server and I tried connecting even with firewall off but I had no luck, what else should I do on server?

I am having troubles trying to connect my colleges Adobe Connect. I have done the test meeting connection and it will say "Unable to connect". I have tried connecting on 3 other computers and it works with flying colors. You don't need Wine to connect to Adobe Connect sesssions on Linux. you just need to switch your browser's user-agent from Linux to Windows ... (and preferably open it in Firefox; Works better in my experience.)

Adobe Connect is for windows and has very little support from Adobe for any Linux OS, though Ubuntu, upon which Zorin is based, was given some limited support years ago.

As I understand it, Adobe Connect requires Flash- which as of now- is deprecated by Adobe.

Now, a health warning: I'm a lecturer at BPP here in the UK and did a lot of work with adobe on making Adobe Connect accessible. I think the OU also did similar. The thing is, our work was done in a Windows environment, and I can tell you that a lot less time was put into the Mac side of things by Adobe. From a Windows perspective, Adobe Connect is much better than it was but there are still limitations and frustrations. Granted, i teach online rather than attending as a student/participant, so perhaps I feel the limitations more keenly, but they're still there.
