Tropes: Approval of God: A Great Big World themselves had a viewing party for the episode, and seemed to enjoy Glee's take on one of their songs. Broken Aesop: Has a Lost Aesop in the boys being able to strip, but it's wrong for Rachel. The half saying that it's okay is also contradictory to the minor message from "Sexy" that child pornography is wrong. Disqualification-Induced Victory: But not for the Rosedale Mennonites. Does This Remind You of Anything?: Rachel's way of eating the banana that had previously been covering Brody's crotch. Double-Meaning Title: Literal nakedness, and emotional nakedness. Stripping yourself bare - oh, no wait, that's something else. Fanfic Fuel: One fic exists depicting Rachel and Quintanna's dinner ending with desert. Namely Rachel. Foreshadowing: Santana's comment about New York being more her speed is so obvious in its suggesting she's going to move there. Hilarious in Hindsight: Brittany says that with Sam's freakishly low SAT score, his future prospects are pretty much limited to be a greeter at Abercrombie & Fitch. Shout-Out: When Brittany is listing off Ivy League and other good colleges, she instead calls Stanford "Stamford and Sons", like Mumford & Sons (not the one Quinn got into, though Dianna did) and U. Cal Berkeley "the University of California at Charles Barkley's house". This does suggest that she for some reason thinks that college is all about music and performance, which we'd easily blame on the fact that everyone at college who graduated last year is studying some form of performing artnote Rachel and Kurt are Musical Theatre, Santana and Mike are Dance, Quinn is Theatre, Finn is getting his teaching certificate but by running the glee club, so that's moot. Visual Pun: At first a box of "Rooster-O's" is used to hide Brody's crotch, and this is then replaced by a banana that Rachel is holding before proceeding to peel and eat in a suggestive manner.
On the other end of the seriosity spectrum is the Chapel Choir, which formalized along with the great new Chapel and its new dean in 1928. It has morphed over the years from an all-male high-Episcopal model to a varied group performing the great traditional religious works and modern pieces as well in the Sunday Chapel service, and (uniquely) getting paid for it, too (a good gig for a hungry grad student).
