Public Domanin audio bibles can be used without restrictions in most countries. But we encourage you to read all legal disclaimers on each link. Each country has different copyright rules. Please read carefully as we are not responsible for how you use the audio Bibles.

I am often without Wifi on my phone and computer and would like to be able to listen to the Word which is available through Logos. Even so I have a terrible broken down version through audible it is not book by book or chapter by chapter. I would like to be able to use the audio format through Logos without an internet connection since it makes to so easy to listen to just what i want to hear.

Anyway if that is the issue I wish I could use the very same audio licence I own, since I bought a copy and have that work through logos. Where someone has done the work of marking the timestamps of each verse and each chapter.

As previously mentioned, Faithlife must honor license agreements with publishers, and in this case the publisher doesn't allow the ESV audio to be downloaded and used offline through Faithlife software.

As a possible alternative you might consider the LEB although it's (obviously) a different translation and only has audio for the New Testament. On the other hand, audio for the Lexham English Bible can be downloaded and used offline.

Sure. In the DAB App just click the BIBLE link at the bottom. This works the same with the DAB Web Player. You can also have the days readings emailed to you via our strategic partnership with Bible Gateway. To do this, visit biblegateway.com, click BIBLE (at the top) and then select NEWSLETTERS. You will find Daily Audio Bible there and once you've clicked SUBSCRIBE and entered your email address the daily readings will show up in your inbox.

A Few.How often can I call? Once per day.Additionally, we don't allow 'product placement' on the prayer line. This means that we don't allow book suggestions, movie suggestions, music suggestions, diet and eating resources, mental or physical health advice, legal advice, political advice, financial advice, or commentary etc. We also don't allow suggestions to: "stream this music", "watch this movie", "read this post about_____", "follow me on social media", "follow this diet program", "fight your disease using these methods", "deal with mental health issues this way", "download my app", "attend a conference that me or my church is putting on" etc. We've experienced tens of thousands of calls over the years and we've seen these types of calls used in ways that turn the line into a vehicle to market, or as a stage to present, rather than its intended purpose--an opportunity to connect and pray for each other. We also do not allow calls that only offer advice but are not prayer or encouragement related. Nor do we allow 'audio-blogging,' serial calling, or polling ("What do you guys think about.....") We ask that you refrain from reading from copyrighted devotional or prayer materials or create a series of calls reading from published devotional materials. Here's the deal friends, we love books, movies, music, ministries, blogs, healthy lifestyle resources, healing, and every other form of communication but the prayer line isn't the proper forum. Talking about these on our social media channels is a better fit. We also don't allow the public exchange of phone numbers, solicitations for missions trips, monthly bills, gofundme (or similar) appeals and the like. These have been abused in the past in unhealthy ways that are not in keeping with the spirit of the prayer line.

Welcome to the Thru the Bible's rendition of the King James Bible, where you can download the audio Bible in mp3 format, for free. This KJV narration is voice only and is read at a slower pace. "Because the Bible should be studied with the Bible in hand." While we love Dr. McGee's Bible Studies, he is still only human. Only the Bible is the final authority, and it must be kept close at hand during any Bible study. Dr. McGee originally intended the listeners of his five year Thru the Bible series to have their Bibles open in front of them while they listened to the broadcast. Many of us these days cannot have the actual text in front of us as we may be driving or otherwise engaged while we listen. For this reason, this site enables you to listen to the audio of chapter of scripture being expounded on just prior to hearing his comments on that same chapter.

FYI:

The Bible contains a total of 1189 chapters.

The total size of all files in this KJV audio Bible comes to 1.16 GB.

The total reading time for this entire KJV Audio Bible is 85 hours, 9 minutes.

The narrator is a retired minister from California named Dan Wagner. The recording was made in 1999.

I have been looking for 2 days now to try and find an audio bible for pc that can be downloaded and listened to without a connection to the internet. I have been unable to find one. It doesn't have to be free. It just needs to be able to work without an internet connection and be downloadable. Preferred versions in this order AKJV, NKJV, KJV, NASB95, NASB20. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. I wish E-sword was audio capable because I have all those versions already. Then I wouldn't be in this quandary:)

Audio bible modules can be created for use with e-Sword using Tooltip NT or a small program that is available on this site and called Audio Module Maker.

In order to create an audio module you must have the audio recordings you want to use in MP3 Format. In the case of creating an audio module for a bible you need to have MP3 files for each chapter of each bible book. The file names should be organized in the correct order such as:

Genesis001.mp3

Genesis002.mp3

And so on through the entire bible for all chapters of each bible book. It is a good idea to keep the files either in a single folder or you can also have folders for each bible book to keep things better organized.

Creation of the audio modules can be done two ways, either as commentary files (CMTX/CMTI) or Topic/Reference module. The audio module will consist of a combination of text and hyper links with the hyperlinks linking to the aforementioned MP3 audio files on your computer.

The Hyperlinks to the audio files will look something like this:

C:\KJV\01 Genesis 001.mp3

There is a sample audio module that can be downloaded that includes the first 10 chapters of Genesis. The audio module in this download is a Topic or Topx module which are view in e-Sword's reference library.
