The deal with mobile ad firm Tapjoy will allow comic book makers to take advantage of the virtual goods model that has proven so lucrative for developers of mobile games.

Archie fans who download the iOS or Android app can access the content for free by engaging with Tapjoy ads. iVerse will handle the digital content distribution, starting on July 18. In the multiplayer mode of Shadow the Hedgehog, the Shadow Androids are shown to be able to speak; each of them are egotistical as all of them claim themselves as the real Shadow while calling the other androids "fakes".

Dr. Eggman made use of the Shadow Androids by releasing a horde of them in Eggperial City. They were let go from a Blowfish Transporter to attack Team Dark and Sonic, Tails, Amy, Silver, and Blaze. They proved to be formidable opponents against them, as Blaze's fire attacks were ineffective against them and Sonic and Amy couldn't take them down hand to hand. The heroes were forced to get away from them and fight with Team Dark. Shadow and Omega's attacks were ineffective against them as well. The combined powers of the whole group allowed them to hold of the Shadow Androids, but not eliminate them. The androids then took down Omega and Shadow was convinced to resort to Chaos Control to take them out. This proved to be effective, however, Shadow drawing power from the Giant Fake Chaos Emeralds caused his Chaos powers to overload and destroy his surroundings.[7]

When reading comics, the imagery of Superman slamming his fist through the chest cavity of the Joker or having Omni-Man shoving his thumbs into the eye sockets of his opponent isn't the only thing that makes for a good story. Comics with little to no violence have always existed alongside their counterparts, many of which have a very wholesome story with a happy ending or a sad one. So when these are discussed, readers do not often think of brutal deaths.

First published in 1939 by Paul Kupperberg, the Archie comics have been known for their quirky, upbeat storyline, adventures, and romance. It's a comic book series that many would not expect a tragic, brutal death from the content they frequently read.

The Death of Archie comic was to conclude the story of Archie and have him go out as a hero by saving a Senator from a shooter by taking a bullet in the abdomen. With a story such as Archie, seeing Archie shot and lying in a pool of blood could be considered brutal in the eyes of its fans. But even with this conclusion, more great Archie comics that depict him as a superhero are still available.
