Free Adobe Flash Player Plugin Download For Android

Wow,that tells me how truly braindead and out of date I am in these things. Is there a free version of an app or product you could recommend that compares to flash player? I'm using it in a broadcast situation and the web site suggested flah player but obviously that's not going to work. Anything you can think of in comparison, if you would be so kind as to give me a much needed shove out if the stone age here!

I have few SWF Files which I want to run view on my Android Device.Earlier I was viewing those files in webview using flash player but now as flash player plugin is no more available on play store so the person who has not flash player plugin already can not view those files.

Hi mbrubeck - I know that HTML5 is supposed to be the way forward, but I'd like to echo brysil's thoughts. Android is becoming hugely popular and there's many web sites that will still use flash for their content for the next few years. Most of the sites I visit, for my job and for pleasure, use flash. Though the browser that comes with android already supports flash, I'd REALLY like to use Firefox as the snyc is great and it would make life so much easier. If you guys would pursue getting a flash plug-in, I think Firefox would soon become THE browser for Android.

Awe man, I was so excited when I discovered my favorite desktop browser was available for Android. My first thought was replacing Dolphin HD which I love but it is a bit slow. But with no Flash then it is almost no use for me. I guess I will stick with Dolphin as my default and the stock browser (both of which support flash on my EVO) for its quickness until Firefox gets a Flash plugin ready.

I really don't mind not having flash on my mobile phone. I mean what's so bad about having to play videos in the youtube app. And then who needs flash games when we have the whole android market. did all the above steps including the fix and still getting the same message on prime....need to install flash player...when I click on the flash player setting app I get taken to a page that says a plugin is needed to view...any ideas anyone...be great if it worked... An update...other apps started to freeze...had to uninstall flash player then apps were fine...

I've got the flash player app installed. the Firefox app and its still saying things like "a plugin is needed to play this content" normally it wouldn't be a big deal but use this for school and I need to be able to watch breeze presentations if at all possible. any suggestions would be appreciated.

open that flash player app and choose firefox app and click always then it will download the lug in for that. restart your firefox then when a video opens and says tap here to activate plug in then just click on that
