My problem is that I am trying to render out in divx or xivd compression but in After Effects 6.5 it doesnt have the codec to. I can import them but there is no option to choose to render in DIVX or XVID codec.

I currently have the K lite codec with nearly everything installed including divx and xvid, I have even tried to enable the codec from FFshow, but still there is no option to render out in DIVX or xvid.

i'm not familiar with xvid (and divx) codec, but if im not mislead by wikipedia, it's basically a codec that largely compatible with mpeg4 standard and the specs is very close to h264. speaking of which, rm / rmvb was quite popular back then, and it's also based on h264, plays well on all kinds of agricultural equipments. so why did rm gone but xvid isnt? be457b7860
