Writing Group

I created a writing group in Géoazur in 2024. It's goal is to accompany anyone in the writing process of papers, PhD manuscripts, etc...

We gather every friday morning for 2 hours to write, in person or on zoom, and we organize writing retreats every now and then !

Writing retreats memories

2026

Nine of us spent a very nice day writing in the library of the Villa Thuret in Antibes in january 2026 ! We took a walk in the garden to relax and think, in bewteen every writing sessions !

A month later, we spent a day in IMREDD !

A 2-days long retreat at the Calerne Observatory occurred in spring 2026 ! The group is growing and people from other teams of Géoazur are joining ! Thanks for welcoming us OCA :)

2025

We organized a 2-days long retreat at Villa Clythia in Fréjus - for 10 PhD students, postdocs and permanent researchers ! Write write write !

2024

A first writing retreat was organized in spring 2024 in the superb library of Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur. We were 12 PhD students, postdocs and researchers to work on our own writing projects! The view was amazing and piecefull to work well !
