I am a PhD Candidate in Finance at Open University and Maastricht University, where my research focuses on sustainable finance, behavioural finance, and corporate governance.
Throughout my doctoral studies, I seek to examine the intersection of corporate governance and corporate social responsibility. More specifically, I take a behavioural view of corporate governance to see how intrinsic and extrinsic motivations like financial incentives, cultural influences or reputational concerns affect corporate sustainability strategies.
I am on the 2025-2026 academic job market. In my Job Market Paper, I study how CEO awards effect corporate decisions and find that firms led by award-winning CEOs increase Air Pollution in the years following the award.
