Divised is a story in the style of a cadavre exquis.
Done during my bachelor’s degree (BAC) in art and science of animation at Laval University. The first five footages, except the last one, were done within a month each. The image was provided by my teacher Vasile-Marius Gindac for the project.
I animated, textured and modelled the 3D scenes. I also modelled the shark and mapped its texture. I also did the editing and effects on After Effects and Première Pro. Everything else has been credited at the end of the video.
Production tools: Autodesk Maya 2018, Adobe After Effects CC 2019, Adobe Premiere CC 2019, Adobe Photoshop CC 2019 and Zbrush 2018.
Description : Its 1970, John Sigma is an ex-patient of a psychiatric hospital in Quebec. During one of his episodes, his mind becomes a twisted version of the madhouse that he knew from his past. Will he be able to break back to reality?
Made during my Bachelor degree with a team of 5, during 3 months, I assigned the task of technical director. Other than the character, I did most of the assets, except the textures. Some lighting and a few key animation. With a loose theme given by my teachers of : smart home, the brainstorming session was quite an adventure.
